Here at Fit Therapy we offer a wide range of treatments and massages, more detail below of the various massages on offer and a brief explanation of the differences between them.
Sports Massage
Sports massage is specifically designed for people who are involved in physical activity. But you don't have to be a professional athlete to have one-it's also used by people who are active and work out often. The focus isn't on relaxation but on preventing and treating injury and enhancing athletic performance.
Swedish Massage
This uses long smooth strokes, kneading, and circular movements on superficial layers of muscle using massage lotion or oil. Swedish massage therapy can be very gentle and relaxing.
Indian head Massage
This is a relaxing and invigorating massage. It calms and rejuvenates, giving a feeling of peace and tranquility, releases toxins and tension and is particularly useful in relieving headaches
Tibetan head Massage
The aim of the treatment is to make a positive change in the recipient's energy system. Tibetan Acupressure Head Massage aims to restore harmony and balance to your mind and body through the gentle massage of the acupressure points on the head.

Reflexology
A foot treatment incorporating pressure points that mirror the body’s key systems.This is an ancient healing art bringing soothing relief in modern times.
Hopi Ear Candles
This is primarily used to help ease sinus congestion and headaches. A specially made, tapered ear candle is lit and placed strategically in the persons ear. Once both ears have been treated a mini pressure point facial is administered.
Light Healing
Serenity Healing offer LiGHt Healing alongside Chakra Balancing here at Fit Therapy, Rawtenstall. LiGHt Healing is a high vibrational healing energy. It works as energy is passed to the client via the therapist using a light touch.
